About this experience

Code Spot is the development studio I founded in 2024 with the goal of designing, building, and launching modern web and SaaS products — both for clients and as in-house initiatives.
This experience marks the beginning of my journey as an independent developer and entrepreneur, following several years in full-time positions.

Code Spot was born from a desire to create my own tools and products while deepening my technical expertise.
Through this venture, I’ve had the opportunity to explore new technologies, work on diverse projects, and refine my approach to software architecture and product development.

Main responsibilities

Studio creation & technical architecture

  • Defined a modern full-stack architecture based on Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
  • Set up a complete development environment with Docker, Dokploy, CI/CD pipelines, and production workflows
  • Established internal coding standards and best practices for scalability and maintainability
  • Conducted continuous technical watch to select the right tools for each project’s needs

Web and SaaS application development

  • Delivered full-featured applications from prototype to live deployment
  • Built responsive and dynamic interfaces with React, Vue, and Tailwind CSS
  • Developed modular backends using Node.js with PostgreSQL or Firestore as data layers
  • Adapted architectures for various contexts (monolithic apps, multi-tenant SaaS, REST APIs, etc.)

Project management & autonomy

  • Oversaw the full product lifecycle: design, development, deployment, maintenance, and client support
  • Managed priorities, milestones, and versioning across multiple ongoing projects
  • Balanced technical, design, and business aspects to ensure product quality and coherence
  • Continuously improved processes through iteration, refactoring, and feedback loops

Code Spot represents my transition toward an independent and product-oriented approach to web development.
This experience allowed me to move beyond coding to embrace the broader perspective of a creator and architect.

It strengthened my technical autonomy, sharpened my problem-solving skills, and taught me how to bring a complete product to life — from the initial concept to deployment.
